Position Title: Senior Project Manager
Description: We are currently seeking a Project Manager who will support global purchasing solutions.~cb~
Skills Desired: The successful candidate will have a minimum of six years overall IT experience with four years as a Senior Project Manager. A degree is not required, however will be considered a plus. The candidate will have documented senior PM responsibilities on multiple projects; Experience needs to include strong working familiarity with purchasing processes and terminology; Documented responsibility from initial scope through implementation of an IT application development project; Experience communicating to team, customers, management and developers; Experience with implementing training needs assessment and implementation; Experience interfacing with customers; Establishment of project governance processes for change management, risk reduction; Four or more years working with Microsoft Project; Two or more years as a practitioner skill level PM facilitating meetings, metrics tracking, assisting senior PM with milestone review and management updates; Two or more years experience in a business analyst role working with customers to assess needs, priorities and communicate same to developers; Strong written and verbal communication skills; Experience with meeting facilitation, JAD sessions; Microsoft PowerPoint proficiency; Proven ability to lead/motivate a team to drive for results within program/scope and deliver quality results on time to the customer. PMP Certification is not required, but will be considered a plus.
